Successful launch-3 million iPads sold from Pre-OrdersTrail of success follows Apple everywhere; from Mac book to iPhone, to iPad. Unstoppable reign of Apple continues to make more fortune from its latest flick – the iPad. Steve Jobs and Tim Cook must be partying pretty hard on the success of its newly released iPad on 3rd of March’2010.

The portable device, which purposes as your electronic print media, personal gaming zone, and infotainment source wraps into one tablet – literally known as “iPad”. I bet if any other computer, desktop, laptop, net book or tablet PC has ever made it so big only from its pre-order. Almost $75 million spent are yet to be delivered, while I don’t have a clear idea why such a huge crowd was driven to the sale. Either it is loyal-to-Apple nature of users or effectively carried out iPad marketing campaign, that left people daydreaming about iPad’s looks.

As the statistics show that iPad’s Wi-Fi-only version enjoys the most sales on the first day, probably because aside from being cheaper, it is the first batch to be delivered on April 3rd. The surprise is not finished yet! Expectations were that more people will be driven towards the cheapest $449 16 GB iPad, but customers were equally witnessed to queue in for the higher categories.  This is because they’ll have to spend only a hundred more dollars for extra storage.

Apple just announced to sell over 300,000 iPads in the region of US by the midnight of April 3rd, which includes deliveries of pre-ordered iPads to customers, channel partners and anonymous sales. While, Apple also announced more than a million applications downloads and 250,000 ebooks from iBookstore at the first day.

Seems like Apple is up to higher financial quarters this year. I’ll be sharing those details as soon as they are out!
